Solinatra Barrier is named after its excellent barrier properties which make it the ideal material for producing coffee capsules. Its oxygen and water vapour barrier allow the material to be used to produce single-layer coffee capsules with a 12 month shelf life, without compromise on the flavour and aroma of the coffee inside. Suitable for thermosealing biodegradable lids, the material is the ideal solution for dry food storage.
Whilst preserving the freshness of the food products, there is no compromise on the end-of-life for Solinatra Barrier. With a high degradation speed, Solinatra Barrier composts quickly in both home and industrial collections.

Compostability Rates:
Barrier disintegrates to >98% in compost for 90 days at 58˚C at a thickness of 0.75 mm.
